How much is a microblading course Australia?

Microblading courses can range from $2500 to $5000 dollars depending on your trainer and course inclusions.

Typically courses only run for 2 days, which for many, is not enough time to learn the skills required for microblading or build any confidence to proceed any further with their microblading career.

Natalie’s Microblading Training Program allows students up to 3 months to complete their training giving them enough time to practice, develop technique and build confidence. Supervised sessions and real life experiences are also built in to her training program to provide a supportive learning environment.

What qualification is microblading?

In Australia there is no certified training course required to start offering Eyebrow Microblading as a service, however, you are required complete the “SHBBINF002 – Maintain Infection Control Standards” course. This certification ensures that you adhere to proper health and safety protocols, prioritizing the well-being of your clients.

How much can you make as a microblading?

While some Microblading artists can charge upwards of $1,000 per client, let’s break down the revenue based on the average price range
of $450 to $650 per new client.

2 New Clients Per Week
Earnings: $900 to $1,300 per week
Annual Earnings: $45,000 – $65,000 per year

4 New Clients Per Week
Earnings: $1,800 to $2,600 per week
Annual Earnings: $90,000 – $130,000 per year

6 New Clients Per Week
Earnings: $2,700 to $3,900 per week
Annual Earnings: $135,000 – $195,000 per year

It is important to keep in mind that a Microblading procedure typically involves two sessions: an initial session and a follow-up session 6 to 8 weeks later for final touch-ups. For the calculations above, we assume that the initial session is charged at the full price, while the follow-up session is offered as a complimentary session.

Is microblading hard to learn?

Learning microblading takes time, a beginner really needs to take the time to learn stroke patterns and brow mapping.

Many training programs are over only 2 days which is not enough time to develop the skills required to learn microblading.

Natalie’s training program allows students up to 3 months to complete their training and offers supervised studio sessions and real life experiences to build familiarity and confidence.

MEET YOUR TRAINER

Hey there, I’m Natalie Harvey, a senior artist, trainer, and studio owner of Brows Beverly Hills in Sydney, Australia.

With 7 years of experience as a PMU artist, I want to share my knowledge and skills to help you start your career through my Microblading Training Program.

MY STORY

“I completed a 2-day course run by a top trainer in Sydney. We did a lot of practical work which was great & I graduated feeling excited about my future, then reality hit. I was nowhere near ready to start microblading clients. Luckily my sister was a tattoo artist so I could not only work out of her studio but have her there beside me for professional guidance. Without the use of her studio space and her support, I don’t think I would be where I am today.

I slowly started to take on clients. First, family & friends, then paying clients. I remember how nervous and scared I was. Especially with clients I didn’t know, but I persevered. With each new client my confidence grew and the fear I once had was now replaced with excitement, anticipating the joy in my clients faces when revealing their new brows.

Now, after 7 years, I find myself in a privileged position. Owning my own studio and having the opportunity to mentor aspiring individuals, equipping them with the necessary skills to embark on their own microblading journey.”

A BETTER WAY TO LEARN

Our training program is structured to allow students enough time to develop their skills.

Students are given up to 3 months to complete our training program, as each student progresses differently, some students may complete all sessions within a week while other students may require more time to hone their skills and that’s ok.

SESSION 1 - INTRO & PRACTICAL

In this session, you will be introduced to the world of microblading. Learn about brow mapping and shaping, the signature brow pattern, equipment training, skin theory, and practical microblading exercises. Through hands-on practice on latex work, you will begin mastering the fundamental techniques and strokes.

SESSION 2 - THEORY & PRACTICAL

Deepen your understanding of microblading with a focus on color theory, working with different clients, the microblading procedure, and work station setup. Engage in more practical exercises, including latex work with ink, to refine your skills with the microblading tool and application of ink.

SESSION 3 - LIVE DEMO

Observe a live demo where a real-life client undergoes the microblading procedure. This session allows you to familiarize yourself with the complete process, observe professional tips and tricks, and ask questions at each stage. Gain valuable insights and practical knowledge as you witness the procedure from start to finish.

SESSION 4 - MIRROR WORK

Experience first hand the feeling of microblading real skin. Natalie will conduct a real life procedure and have you trace over her strokes allowing you to feel the sensation of microblading real skin without the fear of making a mistake.

SESSION 5 - LIVE MODEL

This exciting session offers you the opportunity to complete your first full microblading session with a live model. With Natalie by your side, providing guidance and supervision, you will apply the skills you’ve learned and create stunning brows for a real client. This session is a significant milestone in your microblading journey.

SESSION 6 - FIRST CLIENT

Students have the option to utilise our studio space and have Natalie on hand to supervise and provide guidance for their very first client. This supportive environment is crucial for your progress as you gain valuable experience and build confidence while working with an actual client.

SESSION 7 - SECOND CLIENT

Continue honing your skills and expanding your portfolio with a second client session. Utilise our studio and receive supervision from Natalie as you work on another real client. These supervised studio sessions offer a safe and nurturing environment for you to make significant strides in advancing your microblading career.
